Who is this for?

This workshop is for development and operations teams who want to move beyond manual deployments and build reliable, automated pipelines. It is particularly suited to teams who are deploying infrequently because the process is painful, or who have a basic pipeline in place but want to improve it with proper testing, security, and deployment strategies. Whether your team uses Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or another CI/CD platform, the patterns and principles covered are transferable. Participants should be comfortable with Git and have some experience with the command line.

How it works

The workshop is delivered remotely over a full day. The morning focuses on Git branching strategies, Docker containerisation, and image optimisation - your team will build and push container images as part of the labs. The afternoon covers CI/CD pipeline design, automated testing at multiple levels (unit, integration, smoke), and deployment strategies including blue-green and canary releases. The session wraps up with pipeline security and secrets management. Where possible, labs are tailored to your team's existing tech stack so the learning is immediately applicable. After the session, you get access to the example repository and 30 days of support for follow-up questions.
